White and Dark Chocolate Chip Almond Cookies

Ingredients
8 ounce Solo Almond Paste
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
2 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup salted sweet cream butter (softened)
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar (packed)
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup white chocolate chips
3 cup unbleached flour
2 eggs
Instructions
In order to make this White and Dark Chocolate Chip Almond Cookies recipe, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Start by using a stand mixer or hand mixer, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, almond paste and vanilla extract. Add salt, then slowly blend in the eggs, adding egg to the mixture one at a time.
Dissolve the baking soda into the hot water, then add to the mixture and blend well. Slowly add flour to mixture, blending well, then add white and dark chocolate chips.
Scoop spoonfuls of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet and cook for approximately 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies' edges are golden brown in color.
Allow White and Dark Chocolate Chip Almond Cookies to cool for 5-10 minutes before removing from the cookie sheet.
