Brunch Cake

1-1/4 cups butter or margarine, softened
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 can Solo or 1 jar Baker any flavor filling

Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan and set aside.

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in flour and mix until blended.

Spread batter evenly in prepared pan. Drop filling by spoonfuls on top and bake 35 to 45 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Cool completely and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar if desired.
